Washington DC

At Hilliard City Schools, the 8th graders are given the opportunity to travel to Washington DC to visit the buildings and monuments of our national capitol. Unfortunately for Elizabeth, her trip was scheduled at exactly the time when the Federal Government shut down during one of the budget arguments. So the following Spring Break, Elizabeth, Catherine and Paul went back to DC to do the grand tour on our own

	The Korean War Memorial The statues in this Memorial are life sized. It is quite eerie to walk amongst them.
