Preparing to sail. Everyone to Lifeboat Drills |

We followed the SS Norway from the harbor in Miami.
Norway was originally the Ille de France, one of the most
luxurious liners of the first half of the 20th century. My mom, Margaret
Lambert, experienced an Atlantic Crossing on this ship, going from the
US to England. Later, she made the reverse crossing on the Queen
Elizabeth II. The Norway was the nicer of the two, according
to Mom. |

Our ship, MV Granduer of the Seas, part of the
Royal Caribbean fleet. Here anchored at Labadee, Haiti, their private
beach. |

Great day at the beach! |

Elizabeth and Paul took a ride on a submarine. Looks a
little crowded, huh? |

No really, we really did have a blast. |

The pool deck was a very popular place on the two days we
spent at sea. |

The Galley was enormous, and spotless. |

Our cabin was way down there at the end of the
passageway... |

...two decks below the main deck, and just below the
funnel. |
